Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO are trying for a baby.

On June 4, the country star, whose real name is Jason DeFord, revealed that he and his wife Bunnie XO are utilizing IVF.

“Papa Bear dropped a surprise on this pod(cast) today,” Bunnie XO wrote in a caption of a video of Jelly Roll revealing their plans on a podcast.

“My wife and I are talking about having a baby and it really made me realize at almost 40, I was like, that means I gotta live to at least 60,” Jelly Roll said during the conversation. “I gotta see this kid into college.”

Bunnie XO, host of the “Dumb Blonde Podcast,” continued in the caption, “We had planned on doing this privately, but decided our IVF journey needed to be shared because we’ve always been so open. And w/all odds stacked against us, it’s already been hard & we have only just begun.”

She added,“We have been meeting with IVF doctors & exploring all our options to add to our family. J and I are SO excited & scared all at the same time. We genuinely never thought we’d want to add to our family but something changed this year & we both just want a piece of us together to add to our already perfect family w/Bailee and Noah.”

Bunnie XO wrote, “God Willing — Baby DeFord 2026.”

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO were married in 2016 at a Las Vegas chapel and Bunnie XO is a stepmother to his daughter Bailee Ann, 16, andsonNoah Buddy, 7.

In 2020, Jelly Roll wrote onFacebookthat his wife was “the epitome of a good mom,” adding, “It takes a special kind of woman to raise a kid that isn’t her child and still treat the child as if she was.”

Here’s what to know about Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO’s family.

Bailee Ann Deford

Bailee Ann was born in May 2008 to Jelly Roll and Felicia Beckwith.

On her 11th birthday in 2019, Jelly Roll shone a spotlight on his daughter.

“People wonder why I don’t tour as much as I used to and this is the reason,” he wrote onFacebook. “I love spending time with her and watching her grow.” Jelly Roll shared that Bailee even “wrote and rapped her own verse” on the song “Sunshine After the Rain” on his album “Crosses and Crossroads.”

He added, “She is so so talented — I could brag on her for days — I love you munchkin, kick a** and be polite.”

Bailee often appears in her stepmom’s TikTok videos in funny skits.

In January 2024, Bunnie XO defended her husband and stepdaughter against internet trolls who called them “massively overweight”

“For you to even come on my page and say something about my underage daughter’s body shows the type of human you are and I just hope you have the day that you deserve,”Bunnie XO said on her podcast in response to the critical comment.

She added, “You need to give people who have eating disorders, any type of eating disorders, the same grace that you would give a drug addict in your family. (Not) in any way I am saying (to) enable this person but they get enough hate in the world, that the last person that they need hate from is somebody in their family.”

In a 2022interviewwith 105.7 The Point, Jelly Roll said that having his daughter was a wakeup call from his criminal past (for drugs and robbery).

It was “the realization that I could no longer be selfish,” he said, explaining that having someone else rely on him “was an important task so I wanted to take it serious. And I did.” Jelly Roll also revealed that he and Bunnie XO had full custody over Bailee for the previous seven years.

Jelly Roll called it “awesome” that his daughter was old enough to travel to see him.

“She’s like a little roadie,” he said. “She loves music, she plays the piano, plays the guitar, she’s also into the drama stuff and the theater stuff, it’s cool. She’s finding her way to express herself and I encourage that.”

Noah Buddy DeFord

Noah Buddy was born in August 2016 to Jelly Roll and Melisa Ann Cowell. “Welcome to Earth,” Jelly Roll captioned aFacebookbirth announcement.

The little boy appeared onTikTokwith Bunnie XO in July 2023.

Noah revealed that his top sport is soccer because “that was the first sport I ever played,” that his favorite person is his sister (over his dad) and that he wants a doganda cat. “I love to play in the water and let the waves catch me” at the beach, he said.

In June 2024, Noah embraced the camera again.

“Hey guys,” Bunnie XO said in herTikTok video. “Can you watch my bonus son really quick? Thank you,” then darted away.

“My name is Noah and this is my first time doing a video so I might be a little, I don’t really know what to say that much, but can you take it easy on me?” he said.

Noah earned instant fans on TikTok, who wrote, “He looks so much like Jelly! His little twin” and “Why is he the cutest person on this planet?”
