Stuffed Chicken Breast
A longtime favorite from the menu, this free-range natural chicken is oven roasted and stuffed with an herb cheese infused with garlic and basted with lemon butter.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House History
The original Chris Steak House, which would later become the first Ruth’s Chris Steak House, was opened by founder Chris Matulich in 1927 in New Orleans.
The restaurant was not terribly successful, but due to its location near the New Orleans Fairgrounds Racetrack, it held on for 38 years of successive ownership changes (Matulich himself owned the restaurant several times).
In 1965 the restaurant was purchased by Ruth Fertel. Fertel turned the restaurant around using family recipes and high quality ingredients. It was an early success and soon became a restaurant known for local celebrities such as Fats Domino, as well as political movers and shakers.
The name officially changed to Ruth’s Chris Steak House in 1976. The first franchise opened in 1977 in Baton Rouge, opened by loyal customer Thomas J. Moran. A total of 66 more franchise locations opened over the next two decades.
The company was sold to Madison Dearborn Partners of Chicago in 1999 and went public in 2005. As of 2016 there are over 130 locations across the United States.
