How do I add a friend code?

How to play multiplayer at Mario Kart Tour ?
Now that you've made new friends at Mario Kart Tour, it's time to play multiplayer! Let's welcome this mode that took a long time to arrive on the game and enjoy it. Even if the game is still in the top of the download charts on Android and iOS, some of your friends will momentarily stop playing. Nothing like that to get you in trouble and not have anyone to make the cuts with.
To play multiplayer at Mario Kart Tour, click on the "Multiplayer" icon at the bottom left of the main screen. For this option to work, you need to have enabled location in your smartphone settings.
Then click on "Create a private group". This will take you to the race settings. Determine the number of teams (0, 2, 3 or 4), the vehicle category (50, 100 or 150 cc), the number of object slots and the participation rules. Click on OK.
A window will open confirming the creation of your private group. An 8-digit number is then automatically generated. All you have to do is share it with your friends (by SMS, Discord, WhatsApp, Messenger, or whatever you want!). This way, all the people who received your group code will be able to join your private multiplayer game! Note: only 8 players in total can play in multiplayer.
